In 2010, Grandpa Gardener had to return to work as a doctor. He had retired from emergency medicine and now has time and effort to volunteer in Kindergarten classes. The Rotary Club of Sahuarita selected "What a Seed Needs to Know" by Grandpa Gardener to be the Club project for this year. We printed over 500 copies of this book (again) with help from a Rotary District Grant and have distributed a free copy to every Kindergartener in the Sahuarita Unified School District through the "Books for Kinders" project. the hard cover bilingual version will be placed in every Kinder classrom and in every school library.
